The most talked about area of development on the internet at the moment is 'web 2.0' social networking sites. At Brightlemon we're working on a number of community based sites (we've just completed a Beta version of a site for the British Council in China) and one of my favourite directories to check out the latest developments is mashable.com. At Mashable.com you can stay up-to-date with the latest offerings web 2.0 developments. You'll find great reviews of the newest sites around but, unlike many other web 2.0 directories, it offers in-depth articles written in house rather than borrowing text either from the sites they're featuring or from similar web 2.0 lists.
